The Little Dragons class, tailored to children 4-6 years old, teaches your child the fundamentals of Soo Bahk Do focus and discipline. Lessons are generally one-on-one with a senior practitioner, and through them, your child will be given a warm welcome into the Moo Duk Kwan family and a jump start into the martial arts. Classes may be arranged with your instructor up to three days a week—Monday, Wednesday, and Friday —at your and your child's convenience. Please call ahead to schedule.
The Children's Class, meant for children of ages 6-12, helps children find discipline and confidence through this developmental time and to build the focus and drive they need to succeed in today's changing world. Soo Bahk Do gives children above average coordination and critical lessons in self-defense, and later, emotional management as well. While the program is rigorous in its tradition, children enjoy exploring new abilities in the martial arts. This is the perfect time to start your child on his or her way to martial arts mastery! Classes are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings.
The Adult Class, for everyone ages 12 and older, incorporates a full education in the martial arts. Beginning with a firm foundation in striking techniques at the lower ranks, training incorporates hard and soft hand techniques, traditional kicking, meditation, and more. Learn to bring yourself internal balance between mind, body, and spirit and enter into an intense fitness program steeped in hundreds of years of tradition. Classes are held every weeknight.

The Korean Martial Arts Academy is located right on the town green in New Milford, CT and is easily accessible from routes 7, 67 and 202. We are next to the post office behind what was formerly CVS. The entrance is in the back of the building under a blue awning.
